A new article by Anannya Bhattacharjee, International Coordinator of the Asia Floor Wage Alliance, has been published in Issue 26 of the Anti-Trafficking Review, ‘Labour Movement Ecosystems and Gendered Bargaining: Learning from agreements to prevent gender-based violence and harassment in Asian garment supply chains.

The piece draws on her direct experience negotiating two landmark agreements to address gender-based violence and harassment in the garment industry, the Dindigul Agreement in India and the Central Java Agreement in Indonesia, exploring what labour movement ecosystems and gendered bargaining can achieve in Asian garment supply chains.
